OLD SUGAR DISTILLERY - The name Old Sugar stems both from the use of sugar as a base for many of the products and from Madison’s history of beet sugar production. All the spirits are crafted, beginning to end, in house using the modified pot-still made by Colonel Wilson. While column stills do a great job of producing extremely clean products like gin, vodka and neutral spirits, much of the character of the original base is lost. With a pot still the base character is retained, making it a better choice for producing brandies, whiskies & rums. At Old Sugar Distillery, we assure that through our distillation process we are delivering products that have robust and flavorful taste on our consumers palate.
